After a year and a half in Florida I moved across country for the second time in two years. I moved first to Santa Fe but only stayed about a month. I quickly realized that I really do not want to do winter anymore. I love Santa Fe and hope to spend time there during the warmer months of the year.
It was not just the cold, I did make friends quickly there but I realized that I wanted to be near some old friends. I don't have much family so friends stand in as my loving tribe.
It is important to be near my core tribe, so I have landed myself in the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, AZ.
I am a little embarrassed that I did not last in Santa Fe because I felt so called to go there. I do believe I was supposed to be there, I just do not think I was meant to stay. I think meeting renowned art photographer, Gary Mankus was the main reason I was meant to be there.
He is very talented and reshot some of my art work for me.
I made friends easily and as soon as I can afford to buy a home in the hills up near 10,000 Waves spa out side of the city, I will.
For now, I will be grateful that I had a really interesting year.
I embraced the shift! I welcome 2013 with open arms and a fresh perspective. I will create, art and beauty. I will write and speak, sharing my inspirational messages with the world.
I will dream bigger, judge less, love more than ever before.
I will pick my one word intention for next year ( I have until midnight). I am blessed to ring in the new year with my daughter and my tribe.
I am blessed.
